Your Responsibilities and

Our Expectations

Service providers are expected to maintain excellent professionalism at all times. This includes adhering to ethical standards and professional conduct, as well as demonstrating a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

  • Service providers should be able to communicate effectively with their clients, as well as with other healthcare professionals e.g., GP, should the need arise. This includes listening actively, speaking clearly and respectfully, and conveying empathy and understanding, before conversations you should sufficiently prep so as to be able to perform to the best of your ability.

  • Service providers should have an awareness and understanding of different cultures, backgrounds, and belief systems, and should be able to work effectively with clients from diverse populations, this means familiarizing oneself where necessary, with the relevant psychological cultural, background or belief level, context.

  • Service providers should be able to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans that are evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and tailored to the needs of each individual client.

  • Service providers should be able to identify ethical dilemmas and make appropriate decisions in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

  • Service providers should be aware of their own biases, values, and limitations, and should be able to manage their own emotions and reactions to provide effective care to their clients.

  • Service providers should be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other therapists, in order to provide comprehensive care to clients, where necessary.

  • Service providers should be committed to ongoing learning and professional development, including staying up-to-date with the latest research and clinical practices, attending workshops and conferences, and seeking out supervision and mentorship as needed.

  • We advise Service providers to seek out their own independent insurance, and while our platform serves you as a practitioner, you are providing services on our platform as a provider/independent contractor, not as an employee.

  • We expect all service providers to maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes, we can request access to these at any point.

  • Service providers will blur their background on calls with clients!

  • You must have a headset for all calls with clients!
